inn, a small marina will stimulate your dreams as it rises and lowers with
the ebb tide, just as a nice fire in one of the fireplaces would in
winter. The low breakwater provides an exceptional view of the tidal
marsh, sea birds, the St-Lawrence and Isle-aux-Coudres. Showers and

La Rivière du Gouffre (atlantic salmon and trout river)
Starting as a mere trickle in the Parc des Grands-Jardins miles to the
north, the 90-odd salmon pools gratify both salmon and trout anglers. White-water
canoeists and kayak enthusiasts ride the last leg down to the marina and
into salt water. Family excursions are possible and there is on-the-spot
rental.

The
Gliders (tours
available for a fee)
Imagine looking down at thousands of lakes, mountain tops, and the Gulf of
St-Lawrence, with only the sound of the wind swishing around the cockpit. You
might prefer to keep both feet firmly on the ground and watch them dance
amongst the clouds, and land at your feet.
Whatever the case may be, no one can remain indifferent to
the sight of these magnificent, silent birds, as they migrate to
Baie-Saint-Paul each year, just ahead of the Canada geese.
